Carney Fest 2025

Saturday, May 3, 2025 • The Church Studio & Cain’s Ballroom

Carney Fest is an annual music festival hosted by The Church Studio in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Inspired by the legacy of Leon Russell, Shelter Records and the Tulsa Sound, the festival celebrates current recording artists of the studio. Named after Russell’s 1972 album “Carney,” the festival offers a family-friendly environment featuring live music, street performers, tours of The Church Studio, local vendors, and food trucks. The festival is taking place on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025.

This year's headliner is the dynamic Ann Bell & the Tulsa Sound. Ann recorded at The Church Studio in the 1970's and was a backup singer for Leon Russell, Joe Cocker and the Gap Band. Opening for Ann is bluegrass sensation, Johnny Mullenax. Both of these performances will be at Cain's Ballroom. During the day festival, live music performances include: Randy Brumley, Jake & the Idols, Grass Crack, Brad Absher, Casey Van Beek and Charles Tubberville, Zain Braden, Cassie Latshaw and Josh Westbrook, 10 Over Six, and David Thayer.
