For 40 years, Joseph Gierek has worked closely with beginning and established collectors helping them realize and meet their collecting goals and needs. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the extensive collection of painting, sculpture, glass, collage and mixed media works created by mid-career and established artists. The gallery strives to educate and provide culturally significant experiences for all, whether collector, observer or student.
Joseph Gierek began his career in the art business in 1982 in Scottsdale, Arizona. In 1987, he moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico where in 1990 he served as President of the Santa Fe Gallery Association. In 1998, he relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he opened his eponymous gallery on Cherry Street, eventually moving to its current location in the Meadow Gold District on historic Route 66 in 2013.
The gallery has been named to the "A-List "by the readers of Tulsa People Magazine from 2014 through 2021 and "Best of the Best" by the readers of Oklahoma Magazine from 2002 through 2021.
In addition, the gallery was named one of the 25 Best Galleries in America and the Best in Oklahoma by the American Art Awards in 2018.
