Tulsa, Oklahoma (September 9, 2021) - An 82-unit former apartment building located at 1840 South Boulder Avenue in Downtown Tulsa is currently under construction to become a boutique hotel. The piece of Brutalist architecture is being converted with an estimated early to mid 2022 reopening. The $10 million project just south of downtown is redefining luxury accommodations in the city.

The building’s style first made its appearance in the UK around the 1950s. The Brutalist architecture has not only given this Tulsa hotel its name, but has also given the redevelopment team room to piggyback with the serving of little Brut champagne bottles. A 9th floor rooftop bar & restaurant is planned with more than enough room for hotel events. The 360 rooftop will give hotel guests both elegant views of Downtown Tulsa and sweeping views of the Arkansas River.

Developers emphasize the local focus when it comes to events. Fashion shows, art installations, and yoga retreats are all planned. Guests will also be afforded bicycle, skateboard, and roller blade rental options. This highlights the hotel’s location and close presence to the downtown and Riverside areas.
