Tulsa, Oklahoma (January 6, 2022) Construction on the Discovery Lab’s brand-new 50,000 square-foot location is set for completion very soon in early 2022. The new location at 31st & Riverside is about 8 times larger than its previous Owen Park setting, which the organization has operated out of since 2013. Not only does the new Tulsa Children’s Museum Discovery Lab building offer several state-of-the-art exhibit experiences for Tulsans and city tourists, but it also offers several educational opportunities with professional on-site educators.

The brand-new facility will offer a 250 seat amphitheater, 20,000 square feet of exhibit space, workshop rooms featuring hands-on experiences, gaming headset technology, a giftshop, café, and event rental space on the third floor with views of the river and the downtown skyline.

Discovery Lab has been igniting the curiosity of children since 2007, initially as a museum without walls. In May 2013, Discovery Lab opened after renovating the Owen Park Recreation Center.
