Tulsa, Oklahoma (October 5, 2021) - A wealth of great New Orleans flavor on Cherry Street. Nola’s Creole & Cocktails, a Cajun-Creole inspired eatery complete with a craft cocktail bar, opened its doors in April 2018 and has since become an icon within the midtown area. Located in the basement of an old school, this unique Tulsa restaurant remains true to its Prohibition Era roots. Diners not only enjoy its secluded, speakeasy feel, but also its historic art and artifacts.
Notable lunch menu items include the Nola Burger (blackened ground beef topped with Andouille, salami and provolone cheese), the Red Allen Croque-Monsieur (a trenched baguette stuffed with smoked ham and gruyere cheese), Voodoo Chicken (a Cajun-fried chicken breast topped with shrimp and jumbo lump crab in a mornay sauce), and Bourbon Street Baby Backs (a half rack of Cajun-rubbed ribs glazed with spicy New Orleans BBQ sauce).
A complement to the lunch menu, Nola’s dinner menu features 14 appetizer choices, salads, sandwiches, specialties, pastas, sides, and 4 dessert options. Favorites include Skiffer Crab Cakes (2 pan seared jumbo lump crab cakes with a creamy white wine sauce), Jacked-Up Oysters (freshly shucked oysters on the half shell topped with bacon, jalapeño, pepper jack cheese and Cajun butter sauce), and The Big Easy (a 16 oz. blackened ribeye on a bed of dirty rice and topped with crawfish étouffée).
Nola’s also offers a Saturday / Sunday brunch and is located at 1334 E. 15th St. in Tulsa. To learn more, click here.
