City Destinations
The city of Tulsa is comprised of many different neighborhoods and districts – each offering something unique to the community. The downtown area is split into five micro districts: Arts District, Blue Dome District, Deco District, East Village District, and Greenwood District. The Tulsa Arts District is known for its culture, music, and great outdoor experiences. One of the weekly highlights of the Arts District is Food Truck Wednesday in which local food trucks line up around 11AM and locals can grab a bite to eat and enjoy some beautiful outdoor weather during their lunch break. You will also want to mark off the first Friday of every month on your calendar to attend the First Friday Art Crawl .
Known as the entertainment district, the Blue Dome District is home to several bars, restaurants, shops, and nightlife destinations. You will certainly want to come for pizza by the slice , rooftop drinks with views of the city, and time-honored events such as the Mardi Gras Parade.
